Designing and Conducting Mixed Methods Research

January 9 - February 6, 2026 | Fridays, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM | via Zoom

Organizer

The Wise Researcher (TWR Publishing) invites you to participate in a series of masterclasses for research capacity building. This masterclass provides an in-depth, practice-oriented introduction to the principles and techniques of mixed methods research. Participants will learn how to intentionally integrate qualitative and quantitative approaches to answer complex research questions in social sciences, education, health, business, and applied fields. The course emphasizes research design, data integration, methodological rigor, and real-world application. Through case studies, hands-on exercises, and guided project work, participants will build the skills needed to conceptualize, plan, implement, and present a high-quality mixed methods study.

โ€The speaker shows mastery of the subject matter. As an engineer by profession and not generally a very good writer, I can say that I have learned many things in the sessions. I've saved the videos and will be viewing them when I am drafting a research proposal / finishing ongoing research projects.โ€

Testimonials

โ€It was a very fruitful and amazing experience to be a part of this class! I gained so much knowledge, and it was a previlege to understand and dig deeper into what Research is. Thank you for the opportunity.โ€

Redyah J.

โ€The concepts in research writing are simplified and informative. Even if I was not able to religiously join the class due to conflicts in schedule and weather conditions affecting our connectivity, the recorded videos and materials were very helpful.โ€

Anessa R.

โ€This masterclass provided a valuable learning experience. The well-organized content, coupled with the speaker's clear explanations, made the materials easy to understand. The use of sample articles and papers as illustrative examples further enhanced understanding and practical application of the concepts taught.โ€

Shaira B.

"Generally, the masterclass is very easy to understand for beginners. This serves as a good refresher for me. A huge thumbs up for the recording, which was very helpful for me since there are times when my class overlaps with the scheduled masterclass. Thank you so much po!"

- Patricia D.

"All objectives and expectations were met, and sessions were so detailed yet easy to follow. The speaker possesses mastery of the discussions. If given the chance, I would recommend the masterclass to my colleagues and friends."

- Philip T.

"The discussions were so systematic, detailed, and with appropriate examples. Aside from that, he gave us tips on what to do and what to avoid. All in all, I am generally happy to be able to enroll in this class as it gave me the confidence I need to work on research."

- Eleanor P.

"Overall, the masterclass was excellent. I initially expected it to be overwhelming since it focused on statistics, a subject I'm not very familiar with. However, the sessions offered clear explanations on how to use Jamovi for various statistical tests. It definitely enhanced my skills in using Jamovi, and Iโ€™m excited to share what Iโ€™ve learned with my students in class."

- Rolenz C.
